Reverse DNS

Just a quick question, I have a static IP activated and I'm wondering if I can point a domain to the IP and have it reverse DNS'd by PlusNet? My dedicated server host has been able to do this for me on my machines in the past, and the said I would have to get in contact with my ISP if I wanted my home PC done.
If it's possible, how would I go about it or who would I have to contact?
