Restricting Access

Hi.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to restrict access at certain times of the day for different devices on my network?
I used to have a BT homehub and it was really easy to just log into the router and do this.
I emailed plusnet for help - but they've told me to come to the forum as they can't help!
Would be really grateful if anyone does know how to do this.
Thanks

Hi jolene88,
Can you tell us which modem/router you have at the moment and we can let you know if it's possible!

Re: Restricting Access

Hi, I don't think the TG582n has that facility. However if you've still got the HomeHub, most of them will allow you to configure a PlusNet username/password, see here for details http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGVplusnethomehub.htm
If yours will then go back to using that if it provides the facilities you need.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks I will give that a go then as I found that the homehub was brilliant for parental controls.

Re: Restricting Access

I trust that works OK,
K9 has a facility that will do that, plus certain sites can be blocked.
Problem is that it has to be installed on all PCs,
I have it on my computer as  teenage grand children use my PC when they visit.
