Request for connection graph

Could someone from plusnet please post a graph of my connections over the past week.
I seem to be having irregular but increasingly frequent disconnections that are unrelated to phone use or the weather.
many thanks

Re: Request for connection graph

Hi tagaloa,
Here's your connection graph:

It might be worth having a read through http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,119921.0.html
Please let us know if we can be of any further help.

Re: Request for connection graph

Thanks for that. I don't know what else you can do at the moment.
I suppose there is always a slender chance that it will disappear as mysteriously as it started.
We have made no changes to our wiring that could explain its sudden appearance, so that leaves failing hardware at our end. Later this afternoon I'll pick up a replacement phone socket with built in filter and replace the one that is currently in use, just in case the filter is failing. After that it's a matter of tracking down a spare router to test it with.

Re: Request for connection graph

No problem.
Before you do that, it might just be worth trying the router into your Test Socket in the first instance. Although you've not changed anything with regards to your internal wiring, it can become degraded over time which may have an effect on the quality of service you experience.

Re: Request for connection graph

Unfortunately it's old wiring and there is no test socket.

Re: Request for connection graph

Ah - Ok. You could try an alternative microfilter if you have spare before installing a new faceplate.
If you'd prefer to go ahead and install a new socket instead, that's of course up to you Smiley
