I am about to purchase a replacement router for the one supplied by PN. Thinking of the Netgear R6300 router (new AC standard) my question is -will I have to enter a user ID and password to connect the router to the internet ? I suspect the answer is yes - can I assume the user ID is in the format (username) @plusdsl.net and the password is my usual PN password ? Any tips on the R6300 router would be much appreciated
Hi there, Yes, you would need to enter a username and password in order to authenticate, it's the main account password and the username should be in the format you mentioned. Adam
