Repeated connection drops

My internet connection drops out most days, sometimes several times a day and at random times. Usually it fixes itself after a while or after a router restart. I was using the issued thomson router though have recently switched to a TP-Link W8960N and am still having the same issue so I'm guessing it's not a router issue. Is there any way of fixing this since it gets rather annoying.

Hi philrule,
Have a look at our troubleshhoting guide for tips on how to deal with dropped connections. If  the problem still persists then raise a fault here.
