Regular fibre drop-outs

My fibre connection is dropping out exactly every 30mins. Any ideas? I've rebooted everything, and I can't think of anything that might be causing it.

Re: Regular fibre drop-outs

Nobody got any thoughts? I've found various reports in the past of precisely  this happening on a variety of providers, both ADSL and FTTC, but not any solutions.

Re: Regular fibre drop-outs

Do you have a "1571" phone? These can check the line for an interrupted dial tone every 30mins, starting from the end of a call, and cause such a problem (though lifting the handset should have the same effect).

Re: Regular fibre drop-outs

Just to confirm
Is it the modem which is dropping the connection or the router

Hi mb1rgw
I can see you spoke to us about this yesterday and we advised how to connect directly to the Openreach modem (so to rule out the router) Have you been able to give that a try?
