Hi, I currently have a problem with my connection speed, I have done a BT speed test and received the following results:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 850 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :1792 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2500 Kbps
Until recently I've received relatively consistent speeds at around 5000Kbps so unsure why this has dropped so dramatically.
Also on my account I notice that my line speed is stuck at 1000 Kbps which is significantly less than my IP Profile.
Has anyone got any idea what maybe wrong?

Give me 5 minutes, disconnect and reconnect via your router and then try another speed test.

No problems, it's something that's easy enough to fix when it happens. We've got a problem to fix the underlying cause of the profile on our side not updating so hopefully this type of mismatch will be a thing of the past soon.

Well thanks for updating that but now my IP profile has dropped to 1500kbps for some reason, no idea why. My line has always been pretty stable and usually get speeds of around 5000kbps so no idea why it's synching at such a slower rate now.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1386 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4448 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 1500 Kbps

It looks like there were a lot of profile changes on the 9th Jan which led to the 1500 profile you've got currently. I'm not sure if that was disconnections or possibly something else happening with the line (elsewhere I mean, not in your premises) but if things are stable now I'd recommend leaving it and the profile should uplift soon.
With regard to the sync rates, the result above of 4448 is much better than that you posted yesterday which was 1792 so it seems that things are getting better?

Hi my IP profile has been at 3500kbps for the last 2 or 3 days now but my line speed is still at 1500kbps. Could someone take a look at this for me please?

Updated, you may need to reboot your modem/router for these speeds to be picked up.
