Red light on router

hi this morning when I woke up, I was cleaning my room and pulled the router power out by mistake, anyway when I put it back on the lights came on normal, but my internet light was a solid red light.
So  I tried to power down again same thing so pulled out the phone line same thing. but I left it for a bit then it was back to normal.
Any idea what this red light is bit worried now, someone said it may mean the router is on it's way out.
PS it a net-gear wireless router,

Can you access web pages ok? If so then probably just a glitch.

no all on green now maybe it just got upset cos I pulled out the plug by mistake and turned it on too quick.

It might be set to only connect on demand rather than all the time.
Check the web pages for it, connection settings.
If that was the case then until you made an outgoing connection then it wouldn't connect and stay red.
