Red internet light on router? Supposed to have been activated yesterday...

Red internet light on router? Supposed to have been activated yesterday...

Its been six weeks since my first call to plus-net to purchase internet, an engineer has arrived and done his bit and last week and i was promised i would have my internet activated on the 12th of October.
Today it is the 13th of October and i am still no closer to receiving any internet... The red internet light on my router has remained unchanged. I understand there may be more to it than meets the eye but im just wondering when/will it be fixed?? I'd love a response via facebook/email/chat request right about now as im not waiting for over an hour and a half to take a phonecall on hold!

Have you double checked user name \ password, besides rebooting router?
