Red Internet light on router

I had Openreach fit the phone line today and that's all up and running but the router is constantly showing the Internet light as red. I've switched off and on several times and reset twice but nothing works. Also when I try to get to the router address it says the page won't load. Can you please help.

@RH79 Welcome to the forums.

Is this a new connection? If so, you should have had email notification of when your broadband will/should go live, and you should receive notification when it has. Note, though, that it can take up to midnight on the 'go live' date for all the components of your BB service to be fully operational.
