Reccomended routers please

Hello everybody,
I have been blessed with the standard Plusnet TG582n router that when plugged into the openreach machine roughly halves the MBPS, I am now on the third router with no changes, Can anybody recommend a good router or how to set this one up more efficiently?

how are you checking the speed and are you doing it via wires or wireless

I've been using the Asus RT-N56U for the past 12 months & am absolutely delighted with both its performance & serviceability..

Hi, sorry to hear that, not sure what you mean by halving your MBPS though? If you could paste the stats from the router in here along with a speed test result (ideally from http://www.speedtester.bt.com) we'll be able to advise further.
EDIT: Apologies, you won't be able to get the router stats as it's a fibre line, sorry about that. However if you could do the speed test it'd be very useful, thanks.
