Reason for an "event" just after 2AM 8 April?

My apologies if this is a silly question but I'm curious as to the possible reason for the event at just after 2 AM this morning. My latency has dropped & my gateway has changed from Pcl-ag01 to Ptn-ag02. I was asleep at the time so it's nothing to do with me! Undecided
Thanks in advance for your time in answering.

Does you area code come up for any maintenance here http://status.zen.co.uk/broadband/ ?
Is more than likely some kind of planned work - a lot of BT maintenance is at 2:00 am

It's very likely that it was caused by BT Maintenance, we've got quite a lot going on during this week.

There's some planned for the 9th covering 01425 because it's also covering my town to 01590. But think yourself lucky that latency has dropped  Grin
Mines done the opposite and increased, for no reason!  Roll eyes

I believe the drop may have been in reference to: PW237010
Although your dial code may not have been listed, one of the parent exchanges that your exchange relies on may have had some maintenance work carried out on it.

Thanks Chris, just curious. As always it's also knocked a couple of Megs off my D/L speed but hopefully that will recover over time?

I'm sure it will, but if you could keep an eye on it, that'd be great. Let me know if your line doesn't recover - let me know.
