Re: Really Slow Broadband

Hi again, since the weekend when this issue seemed to have been resolved, the internet connection has been dropping in and out. Every time the connection goes out it encourages me to log into to my router, after which, I am told DSL connection is down. Likewise when I click "connect" for the internet, it says could not bring up link.

Re: Really Slow Broadband

Please post the current router stats when you have a follow on question. That will indicate if the DLM is trying to manage the line again.
Have you raised a fault report?
Which router are you using? If it is supported by router stats it might be helpful to establish 24x7 monitoring - see the links below.

Re: Really Slow Broadband

The SNRM looks like it is shifting around a little. Synch speed is still fair, but US error counts look high.

If you are able to set up router stats monitoring and plot the graphs, we can get a view on if REIN or line balance is or is not a concern here.

Re: Really Slow Broadband

Your connection doesn't look good.

My tests aren't identifying the cause of that. I'd recommend completing the broadband troubleshooter at http://faults.plus.net so that we can arrange an engineer to investigate further.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
