Re: No response to ticket?

I'm also unimpressed by the lack of a coherent response to my question on slow speeds and disconnections. In my case the question is #38001470. Basically, I'm waiting for Plusnet confirmation that they agree that I have a line problem before I contact the line provider (BT). Nearly two days have passed since I raised this.

Re: No response to ticket?

Is it an audible problem that is still present when the router is disconnected? If so you don't need to wait for Plusnet to confirm.

Re: No response to ticket?

Hi iarsnoo,
Just to let you know, your line has been more stable over the last 12 hours than it has been for over a weekIf it stays like that then your profile will soon lift.

Re: No response to ticket?

But while your line continues to be noisy the speed could dive back down again at any time and there's nothing Plusnet could do to prevent it (other than putting you on a fixed rate 2MB connection).

Re: No response to ticket?

Many thanks to Jojo and jelv for comments.
I think I made a mistake by joining an existing thread with an inappropriate title, so I'm going to start a new one shortly!

Re: No response to ticket?

Thanks, Jim. Didn't know that, and will bear it in mind. However, on reflection, I've started a new thread as I'm going off on a different tack!
