Re: No internet connection tonight 21/6

What is happening to Internet tonight 21.06.17.? I get four lights for about 30 seconds, connect to a page then internet light goes out. Happens time after time. No computer, no Now to and 45 minutes on phone with no answer. Told 30 minutes at 9.25 and gave up at 10.10. Will be switching at this rate asap. Never answer phone, resets and switching on and off don't work. Hopelessly uncontactable company charging for a service they don't provide. Love to get an answer. Area North East. Stockton.

Re: No internet connection tonight 21/6

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

Your connection doesn't look good since last night...

Testing your line isn't identifying the cause of that.

I'd advise going through the checks here and report the fault to us here if you continue to have problems as it's likely we'll then need to arrange an engineer visit to investigate this further.

Thanks,

Re: Internet

Hi and welcome to the Community Forums.

Apologies for the longer waiting times during the evenings. I've checked the connection this side and it looks like the signal strength for your line is set too low which explains when your devices seem connected but nothing loads up or you just get buffing. It always explains drops in connection which I can see have been happening since 5pm yesterday.

The good news is it's a fairly easy fix and I have placed an order to up your signal strength which should complete in the next hour. If you then turn the router off and then on again in a hour or later the connection should be back to normal for you.

Let us know how it goes.

Kind regards,

Ben
