Yes, it may well do as when a regrade takes place they will often use what's called modified FTR so that you don't have quite the same 10 day training on the new service, so if it was in the middle of a training period it may cause issues.

HI apparently my change to 21cn has completed at 19:05 this evening. could you please look at resetting the snr. two reboots since 5pm to reset router to 21cn stats line otherwise appears stable. was off most of today until reset just after 17:00 but i presume that was down to the work being done and no one was home who bothered to reset.

yes, always connected to test socket directly. I had looked at trying a bt iplate but i believe that my new bt socket has that in place. it is split, albeit with the bottom plate off for access, and says openreach on the top left.

Hi Jojo,
I am aware of Fridays longer disconection. I presumed that was my change to 21cn going through. Saturdays I am not aware off and Mondays i think was my helpful son.
I have noticed my SNR has increased over the weekend it had dropped over the last week and half to 12 is now back up to 15 approx.
the short on/off blips were rebooting to get my wireless to work. and trying pppoa

Hi podman,
I've just ran a line test and the profile's lifted a bit to 4500, so I've upped that on our side and you should see that shortly. With that sync rate we should see a profile of 6000 soon though.

My line is now sync'ed just above 7000. With 21cn does the 3 day waiting time still remain for line speed increases?

The sync rate I am currently 6272k but the profile is still stuck at 3500. I'll see if I can get them to check it for you.

Cheers, was 7100 something when i left 😞 bettter than before though.
The SNR has risen again  to 9 / 9.5 after two days of stable at 6 is there anymore I can do to get it to stabalise at 6. As sync was 7102 now 5920 kbps

Still can't seem to unstick the profile. I'm going to reset the line so this should match everything back up. I'll let you know when you should see the difference.
