Re: Low speeds

In the last few days my connection speed has slowed down to a point where streaming is impossible. Following are results from speed test  Download speed - 0.18mbps,  Upload speed 0.86mbps, Ping 41.25. Tried changing modem channel - no difference. Is this a problem at Plusnet?

Re: Low speeds

There has been a couple of disconnections recently, not something has caused them and has caused the line to drop in speed to try and stablise. I'm going to remove that now and you should see an improvement in around 5 minutes.

Re: Low speeds

Hi,
A warm welcome to the forums.
Please follow the advice in the speed issues thread - link below.
Is there noise on the phone line?  Dial 17070 option 2.
Is the router plugged into the master socket?
Are there any phone extensions?
