www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/index/php
www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk
www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/admin
The client can see these....the third party hosting company can see these....I can see these from my local library.
but I can't see these going through Plusnet. I dont have problems with any other sites.
I did a Tracert and this is what I get (aplies to all the above)
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6001]

C:\Users\Graham Pritchard>tracert www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/index.php
Unable to resolve target system name www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/index.

Like someone else commented am thinking of moving from PlusNet becaus of this and the lack of interest from Support - I need to work on this site - it is commercial and is losing money because I cnat complete development of the site.

The admin page took me to a very bland login page, the .co.uk address took me to a puce "Page under construction"
nslookup resolved to 74.52.180.187
AH! Problems. Tried again and using the same DNS server 212.159.6.10 it's now failing to resolve. Seems a bit hit'n'miss

It seems this thread has now been split as possibly it is different.
I have to say that I have intermittently been able to access for short periods....same as you.

www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk
www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/admin
but the first link also works but only after I corrected the syntax to
http://www.dimplesdaisysanddandelions.co.uk/index.php
However a tracert only works to the site not to the index.php which I believe is normal

It now seems consistent that I can access the site - at least for the past 20 minutes or so.

I have previuosly run the Tracert and also received the trace results you had.
However I can almost guarantee that in the coming hours I will again NOT be able to access the sites.....
Two points:
1) what does my original messager mean? Where does the problem lie?
2 How can I trace where Planet.com is......and find out why it gets timed out?
thanks

208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
Also you could try running a tracert to 74.52.180.187 and see if there is any difference

The bit which puzzles me is that your site shares an IP address with a Planet fixed IP and isn't obviously separately identified - I have no idea what the implications of that are

However when you can't get in can you try a tracert to the IP address as I think this bypasses the DNS servers
