Another slow down

speedtester.bt.com @ 11.30am - Download 49Kbps DSL connection 928Kbps (downstream) 448 Kbps (upstream) IP Profile 750 Kbps
mybroadbandspeed.co.uk @ 10.52am - 101 kbps (12.6kB/s) down, 376 kbps (47kB/s) up
Same here !! since a couples of weeks - i get that terrible speed !  and this is on all my 3 plus.net accounts - 2 in the same house on 2 differents bt lines - - and one on another house  - - tested on 3 different pc - - therefore the fault is surely on plus net side !!
it will be nice if somebody from plus.net can explain - what is going on - and why our connection is now all the sudden become slow !

Topic split off for clarity.
A possible answer is that you are checking on the different lines using the same router and login.
In this case it is possible that the Profile set by Plusnet to match the IP Profile is on an account basis rather than a line basis. I could of course be completely wrong

ok thanks oljim for taking care;
here is the speed test results in morning times:

so - all the sudden plus.net start to throttle services speed at certain times of the day   - - im just asking - becouse that is how look like to me - with different speed at different time of the day.
facts is that a speed of 50/60  kb / sec is basically just about depressing !! in these modern days.

you wont see PN throttling on a speed test, only on reported connection during a down load.
what you are seeing is probably your local exchange contention  see here http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/
