Random ping spikes whilst gaming. Almost making it unplayable at times.

So I have noticed this for a while now. Going on more than 6 months.. But the games I played it was never a big issue as it is now (mostly playing FIFA 23). Before it was World of Warcraft or Call of Duty. I keep getting random ping spikes from 13-16ms all the way to 50-70ms. See attached .txt file showing the spikes on cmd - ping 8.8.8.8 -t. I also recorded the gameplay of the game on FIFA during this test to see what I am dealing with, most of the time its a lot worse than shown in the video.

Currently have around 58-66mbs fiber

I use a ASUS RT-AX86U as a router. Using my plusnet as a modem

I have prio on my PC 

I have even capped all other devices to under 10mb

I have Open NAT port and gaming port on my router which I have set up wit Adaptive QoS (currently testing it) As before I was manually capping devices. And it should prio my PC over everything else

How is your gaming device connected to your router?

If it's wirelessly, then it's worth ruling out the Wi-Fi connection.

What happens if you run that ping test to your Asus router's IP rather than Google's DNS address?
