Radius Logs

Hi
Could one of the Digital Care team post my visual radius logs please?  I've just noticed my usually solid 8Mb connection was syncing at 4Mb.  Just rebooted and it is now up to 6Mb.  It looks like my SNR Target is up at 15db.
DSP Firmware Version A2pB025f.d22k
DMT Status No Defect
Operational Mode G.DMT
Upstream 448
Downstream 6144
SNR Margin(Upstream) 23.0
SNR Margin(Downstream) 15.3
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 12.0
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 21.0

Thanks
Phil

Re: Radius Logs

Thanks Adam
That looks very odd.  I can't think of any reason why it would have been off on the 12th before 7pm.  The disconnect last night will have been when I rebooted in order to get my speed up a bit.  So when did my speed halve?
Are you able to see when my profile went down from 8 to 4 and my SNR increased to 15db?
Thanks
Phil

Re: Radius Logs

You had connectivity prior to 7pm on the 12th, just a bad one;

It seems that too was when the noise on your line changed.

We can place a SNR reset for you to bring this back down since your line has been stable.

Re: Radius Logs

Yes please Chris.  My line is usually rock solid.  I'm not sure what happened there to cause that.
Thanks
Phil

Re: Radius Logs

That's been done for you, you'll hopefully see the difference in the next 4 hours.

Re: Radius Logs

My SNR is back up at 17.8 dropping my sync down to 5408.  Can you tell me when this happened again?
Thanks
Phil

Re: Radius Logs

HI Phil,
There's no obvious reason why this has happened, I'd suggest running through our faults wizard - http://faults.plus.net and we can investigate this further.

Re: Radius Logs

Thanks Chris, will do.  I've not connected to the test socket yet, but I've no reason to think why the small extension should play up very intermitantly.  Last time it looked like it had been very stable, then had a few hours of loads of disconnects, then was very stable again. It since appears to have been stable, but I'm guessing must have had a load of disconnects again at some point.  I can try another router, in the test socket etc... as the faults wizard will tell me, but I suspect the logs will show that it was stable after the SNR reset, then had a load of disconnects over a short period of time, then is stable again, so router and test socket wont show much difference.
I'll try the fault wizard tongiht though.
Thanks
Phil

Re: Radius Logs

I wasn't able to do it last night, so I've just run through the fault wizard, creating Question #77494937.
Many thanks
Phil
