Sorry if this is slightly off topic.
I have a Marantz MCR-610 which has Internet radio streaming capabilities.
I am trying to stream BBC radio, and I get constant disconnects and buffering issues with both on-demand radio and live broadcasts.
I currently use a Netgear DGND3700 connected to a Devolo 500MBPS powerline setup, and connect the Marantz using this. I also tried using it wirelessly through the router with the same result, and also tried swapping the router with the Plusnet Thomson router with the same result.
I don’t seem to get the issue when using Airplay or Spotify, so I am wondering whether this is a BBC issue? I did some research on this, and I am wondering it is to do with MTU settings on the router? The MTU on the Netgear is 1436, which seems to be the maximum I can set in the interface. Not sure on the MTU for the Plusnet router. I also updated the firmware on the Marantz, the Plusnet router and the Devolo home plugs to the latest revision.
Anyone else seen similar or have any other suggestions?
