Question to Plusnet regarding IP Profiles

A couple of days a go I made a request to increase my IP profile so it was the same (higher) as BT's because unlike before, it was not raising automatically.Mathew very kindly arranged it and all is well. However, I am noticing more and more requests for PNET to increase customers IP Profiles because it appears that it is no longer (in many cases) happening automatically.
Does Plusnet have a problem that needs rectifying regarding Profile updating?

That'd explain why they've hidden the link to the current IP profile from the member centre. </tinfoil_hat>

The other thing that can happen is that although the Plusnet profile does get updated at some point, it doesn't drop the PPP session, and so the speed you can get doesn't change until you disconnect and reconnect the PPP yourself, or something else happens to cause a re-connect.
