Re: Question on ftp identification

1st is an HTTP connection to the site starting ftp.
2nd is an FTP connection to the site starting ftp.
Anything starting http:// will connect using the HTTP protocol on port 80 (HTTP) unless a port number is specified within the URL. e.g. http://www.plus.net:8090/file.html will connect on port 8090 instead of port 80.
Anything starting ftp:// will connect using FTP protocol on port 21 (FTP) again unless a port number is specified within the URL.
