I just checked on 'help assistant' and realised that raised question (by CS on my behalf) does not even say what the fault is!
So here it is - 'No broadband service' since yesterday. The phone line is working but DSL LED on openreach modem keeps blinking.

We have the details of the fault and it does state that the modem is out of sync.
Have you been able to check that the connection is OK from the modem to your phone socket?

Yes, I have checked the connection and everything appears to be in order - but still no sync. Openreach modem is connected to the main socket (the only socket in property). The main socket, cable to BT main connector, BT main connector and the cable entering the property from BT junction box outside are all new.

I've just updated your ticket and we need to send an engineer out to you, please let us know your availability, I did also try to call you earlier if you're wondering who it was
