Re: Punishment ??

Is interleaving on? If not, I'd suggest having interleaving switched on and having it set so that the DLM can't switch it off.

Re: Punishment ??

I reset the SNR earlier today and interleaving should also be on.

Re: Punishment ??

Might be worth checking there's no audible noise on the phone line.  Dial 17070 and select option 2 "Quiet Line Test".  If you hear noise like humming, buzzing or crackling then that would indicate a phone line fault.  You're going to struggle to raise a fault based on broad band speed, as you're likely to get that "it's within estimates" flung back at you.  However if there's something wrong with the underlying phone line, then fixing that will make sure your broadband is as good as it gets.
Your connection speed is back to just over 1900, it might take a while for Plusnet to reset your profile, what does it show here under "Current Line Speed" ...  https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
If that looks correct, I think it should be something like 1.6 or 1.7 meg, then you might have to reset your connection to bring that into effect.  To explain, BT sets a speed inside their network based on the speed your router connects at,  then Plusnet get that speed reported to them and they set a data rate of their own.  You won't get the benefit of any speed increase until that's shown on the Plusnet current line speed.
