Profile speed needs a push

Hi plustnet just woundered if someone could give my line profile a nudge please.
I had to fit a new carpet on saturday so the phoneline and pc and everything were unpluged, Since then my speed has seemed slower than usual so i reset the modem again but had the same speeds so diden't think anymore about it untill tonight.
Got chatting to someone on facebook and ended up doing the bt speed test and i noticed my line speed is 40.55mbps but my plusnet profile is only set at 36mbps roughly.

Not sure if a member of staff gave my profile a nudge but its all sorted now so thank you.

Seems to keep getting higher for some reason and i have not restarted the modem.

I've just changed that for you now.
If you log into your router and disconnect/reconnect everything should be fine

Can the profile on BT's end get higher without a loss of connection to the modem?
Just suprised its higher than before, Would have thought it would be lower if there was a d/c.

Hi could i get my profile nudged please, lost around 10Mb for a while so decided to change the cable and now its jumped back up.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 32.1 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 16 Mbps-38.72 Mbps .

Thank you but i thought the profiles should match pretty much so my plusnet profile should also be around 38Mbps?
Untill it droped out about a month ago it was happy at 42Mbps roughly at BT's end then for no reason at all i noticed the drop to 32Mbps then after changing the cable yesterday it went back up to 38.7 BTs end.

Sorry to jump in, Steve.
Can someone check my speeds as well? They are a LOT slower than they should be.

That's been changed to 38.8 for you and if you log into your router and disconnect then reconnect you should see a difference

Your profile is set correctly on our end and BT's. If you run through our fault checker at http://faults.plus.net and we can look into this further
