How do I get a IP profile reset ?
My download IP profile is constantly about 2mbs lower than my adsl2+ modem speed around 15mbs. Right now my IP profile shows 13.05 mbs.
However the upload IP profile is a bit higher than my actual connection which is 443.
This is also not the only issue. My BT wholesale download speed is never showing above 10mbs and the upload is almost stuck (no variations whatsoever) at 384kbps.
So is the resetting of the profile going to help my speeds going over 10mbs/384kbs ? Is there a QoS cap somewhere? I also have a fixed IP and the PRO add-on but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
If you need some more info plz let me know.

To help even more with the speed issue this is the output of a python script I am using the regularly check the speed. This is not using the btwholesale CCS switches for downloading content and then approximating the speed but using the infrastructure behind speedtest.net.
python tespeed.py

Hi there,
Your line profile is 88.2% of your sync speed, so 12.9Mb is about right. Your downstream noise margin is also set to 6dB which means it's unlikely to go any higher - we could try and push it down to 3dB which may work if there's no errors on the line, that'd up your sync speed by around 800kbit/s but may lead to instability.
So the downstream's about as good as it'll get for now (though if you post router stats I suspect you'll get a bit more advice on that one) but we could uncap your upstream for free to around 1Mb if you wish?

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply. Please DO remove the upstream cap, do I need to change my dsl settings to Annex M ?
These are the details extracted from my ADSL driver:

DSL VPI/VCI: 0/38
DSL Status: Showtime
DSL Mode: ADSL2+
DSL Channel:
DSL Upstream Rate: 443 Kbps
DSL Downstream Rate: 14794 Kbps
Down up
DSL Noise Margin: 5.9 dB 30.8 dB
DSL Attenuation: 29.5 dB 12.9 dB

Hi, order placed to uncap the upstream - that'll complete tomorrow, and no you don't need to change any settings. I suspect someone will be along shortly with comments on the line stats there - personally I'm not sure there is much we could do to improve things but there may be some tweaks to internal wirings etc that some members here could advise on.

Any reasons why I have such a low dsl noise margin numbers ? 5.9 on the downstream is just too bad. What can I do to improve it ?
Is a change of filters going to improve it ?
The dsl attenuation is pretty much in range with the geographical distance to the exchange, LSTED in this case.

If it's stable at 5.9dB that's actually a very good line - the lower the SNR margin, the faster your sync speed will be (but the more at risk of dropping the line is). We could raise it to 9 or even 12dB if you're worried, but you'll lose about 800k of sync speed for every 3dB that's increased by.

Thanks Matt,
If is not going to speed up my connection then leave it like this. Thanks for the removal of the cap on the upstream. That also came with a tiny bonus on the download speed as you can see bellow:
