I've been having a read of this Plusnet support page which concerns moving between the current three Plusnet broadband products. What I'd like to query is point 4, which details what happens if one chooses to downgrade. It says that doing so requires the starting of a new contract, which it states to be 18 months. My question is, what happens if an existing customer on a 12 month Unlimited contract decides to downgrade to Value? Are they placed on a 12 month contract again, or is their new contract upped to 18 months?

Hi there,
This should start a new 12 month contract as opposed to a new 18 month one. I've just tested this on our staging platform and everything seems to confirm that this is the case. I'm loathe to try it on a live account just to prove the point though.
