Hi all im hoping someone can help with a problem we have at the moment with our laptop and router.
The laptop is a Packard Bell running Vista service pack 2, every time we turn the laptop on we have to restart the router as the laptop will connect to the router but it is a limited service
basically no internet.
Ive tried everything i know but i cant solve it.
Once connected everything is fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Are you using a Plusnet supplied Thomson TG585v8 router you've had for some time? If this is running v8.2.7.7 software updating it to v8.2.7.8 might solve the problem.
If your router is a TG585v8 logging into its GUI at http://192.168.1.254/ will display the Software release in the Thomson Gateway panel in the centre of the page.
If it is 8.2.7.7 you can update it yourself as described in this Community Support Library document, but if you find that daunting Plusnet might do a remote upgrade for you if you post back here and ask.
