Problem accessing Ebay through the app via plusnet

Experiencing odd problem where much of app doesn't work on phone via wifi to broadband connection. But if phone is connected to a mobile hotspot (in same house), it works fine. The standard web interface to ebay also works fine, its just a problem with the app via plusnet.
