Pro Add On

I recently added the Pro add-on to my account but it looks as though the new profile hasn't been applied.  Downloads from the likes of eset.co.uk and Adobe are running at 25KB/s till 10ish when they increase to approx double the speed.  This seems to be in line with the speed profile shown for Extra (which is the product the add-on is applied to).  With Pro I should be getting line speed for downloads.
Could someone possibly take a look to see if things look right at your end?

Re: Pro Add On

I reported a problem when I added this to Extra but so far Plusnet are not accepting there is a problem, they keep saying it kicks in immediately. Try each of these in turn to see if any of them kick it in to life:
  • Disconnect/reconnect
  • If you took part in the IPSC trial and can log in with plusdsl2.net log in as that and then back to your normal login (that did the trick for me)
  • Set the router login name to something wrong and attempt to connect. Then set it back to normal and connect.
  • Disconnect for 20 minutes
  • jelv (a.k.a Spoon Whittler)
Why I have left Plusnet (warning: long post!)
    Broadband: Andrews & Arnold Home::1 (FTTC 80/20)
Line rental: Pulse 8 Home Line Rental (£14.40/month)
    Mobile: iD mobile (£4/month)

    Re: Pro Add On

I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting several times but to no avail!
I didn't take part in the trial so that's not an option.
I'll give the other two things a go and see if I get anywhere!

    HI Paul03,
Looks like you're on the right profile now.

    Re: Pro Add On

    Many thanks Jo.
I've got two PCs that I'm currently rebuilding and downloading updates and reinstalling stuff was getting to be painful (I'd upgraded to Pro because I knew this was going to be happening).
Hopefully it'll be less painful this evening  Smiley
    Many thanks again.
