Price Increase

Hi,

I have my broadband charges increase from £14.99 to £15.99 why?

I only get 25mbps even though i am only 50 meters away from exchange. Can I have the problem solved please.

I assume that you mean Mbps not mbps. If so did you mean to post this on the Fibre board?

If you're on fibre your distance from the exchange is irrelevant, the distance to the street cabinet to which you are connected is key.

If you put your phone number in here what speed does it day you should be getting? https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

Are you testing your speed using an Ethernet cable or wireless? If wireless try splitting the bands, see here: https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/2-4ghz-and-or-5ghz-best-practice/td-p/1351950

Thanks for getting in touch. I have responded via your account here  in regards to your broadband package price. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your speed, having run tests at our side every thing is looking fine. Please can you advise if the problem with your speed occurs solely on wireless connections, or wired connections also?
