Hi,
I've used Telnet to set my Technicolor TG582n to use OpenDNS servers by default. It works fine on my pc. But this surely is easily bypassed by, say, mobile devices as they allow you to set your own DNS servers? Can this be prevented by forcing the router to use OpenDNS servers?
(Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it.)

Can by bypassed on PC's if you have the rights to manually specify the DNS server.
There is something Nasty that can be done with NAT to hijack the DNS traffic and redirect it to openDNS but I'm not sure if the 582n has that capablity and if it does it will involve a fair bit of tinkering with the command line

You can configure the routers firewall to block access to any other name server.
