Powering the BT Modem & Plusnet Router off for sveral weeks

Any reason not to do this if i am away for a few weeks? I prefer to have all power blocks turned off whilst on holls.
Does the exchange mind having a break, i always did this with my O2 ADSL+ without any problems, but not sure if the fibre circuit is more touchy or not.
Thanks

None whatsoever. It's only a problem if it's switched on & off regularly e.g every day , then the exchange thinks the line is unstable.

Still probably better to drop the connection via the 'disconnect' button on the router's interface before you do turn it off though. As MisterW says it should be fine without as it'll be off for some time, but it's still good practice Smiley
