hi i am going mad i have been looking all night trying to find why i cant seem to be able to port forward. i have the ports i want to open and have assigned it to the device i want it connected to, but i cant seem to get the ports to open i have tryed checking the ports remotely and they are closed i have even try shut the fire wall off completely but that didnt work either my old router worked fine and i have been able to view my cctv on my phone for months but now i have this new techicolor tg582n router i cant get in from the outside world. is there any tips i can try or is there a better router i could get as my netgears never let me down.
please help guys and girl or this s*** is going to get smashed with a hammer

If you still have a working Netgear (with ADSL) then there should be no reason not to use it on Plusnet (you don't have to use the Plusnet supplied device).
