Hi,
I try to host games on Mass Effect 3 and one of the ports it is said is needed is 6000 udp.
I have used port forwarding on the router and have turned all firewalls off but this port still appears to be blocked according to port checkers.
Can you confirm if you have this port permanently blocked and tell me how I can unblock it please?
Many thanks,
Pogs

Here's a thought :
set port 6000 to forward to another port that you know is open/available, ( perhaps port 80 if you have a web server running ) then use your cell phone to connect.
Sometimes port checkers show " blocked" because the port is not in use..
Regards..

The port won't actively be blocked, however as C1Rider states it won't show as 'open' on a check unless there is a service active on it at the time of checking.
If you've been through the port forwarding and got this set up correctly, the other things to check are your local firewall (I see you've already mentioned this) and any other security software.
