Port 25 blocked

It appears as though port 25 has become blocked on one of my referrals acounts who I support. What can be done to resolve this ASAP?

This is usually due to antivirus or firewall upgrades being applied incorrectly (generally by the program, not the end user). It's usually worth reinstalling and then reupdating the software, when I've had this problem (I use AVG free) this has solved it.

No Dice, uninstalled AVG completely, reset and nothing. As this is applying to both external mail accounts and Plus Net Accouns, I am guessing it must be due to the connection. OE is being used so is throwing up all sorts of errors, generally 0x800ccc6f which is mail transaction failed error codes. Please advise.

I suggest you try testing using telnet which may give you a better picture of what's happening:
