I have recently moved from BT to Plusnet an am experiencing problems with Wi Fi. W have a small bungalow, use 2 pc's hard wired and 2 tablets wirelessly in aanother room. Using a technicoloue TG582n Plusnet router. I also have a Huawei Wi-Fi Repeater in he room where we use the tablets. The tablets show signal strength of good to excellent but the Wi Fi performance varies between very slow and non existent. Initially I can get on to the web but it becomes slower and slower till it just hangs. This would happen occasionally with the BT Home Hub 3 but is considerably worse wit
I thought of trying the Bt router but not sure if it will work and also considered using a longer lead to move the router to the hall which is more central.
Is either of these likely to help or can anyone suggest another solution?
Current speeds are Down 68835 kbps (8.6MB) and Up 6216 kbps (777kB/s)
