What work was carried out by the engineer? Did he replace either the modem or master socket or was it all external?

It was all external currently using a home hub 5 all the engineer did was reset the dslam came back did further line tests all clear.

Since i had the engineer reset the DLM the connection was stable for almost 5 days and now it's randomly dropping the connection several times a day is this down to the DLM retraining or is this something else. Engineer came out on the 17th feb.

It'll be the line training.
During this period, the line will determine what speeds it can cope best with, with stability in mind.
