Pointers to info on PN mailing lists

Well I never expected it, but, I think it will be worthwhile setting up a mailing list. The help pages are a bit sparse - can anyone give me some pointers on running a mailing list beyond the obvious?
Also, anyone got any useful experiences from running PlusNet mailing lists?
Ta muchly,
Dizz.

Re: Pointers to info on PN mailing lists

What help pages have you looked at, the one here?
Not sure what more there is to add TBH, as it's fairly straight forward. What will you be using the list for and how do you envisage people will be subscribing to it?

I would like to share an err... reasonably busy list of jokes that come my way. It appears that folks are asking me to send more out - I've become a bit of a hub for quality rib-ticklers!  Cheesy
Q - Can anyone write to the list, or can I restrict it to just me writing?
Q - Is there any tidy way to invite people to the list?
I think I have the complete handle on the rest of it - I used to use maillists years ago!
Thx,
Peter

AFAIK, anyone subscribed to the list will be able to write to it.

It could probably be scripted somehow. Have you looked at My Circular? I'm thinking that might be better suited to your requirements.
