Looks like another fan of the Technicolor router, not:

Quote Barely achieves advertised fibre speeds
Not sure what this means....it provides the same throughput as my Asus on my 100/15Mbps fibre connection.

I thought the fibre versions do have a USB port.
The router's serial number as the default admin password doesn't really add any security. The serial number is freely given away in at least 2 different ways.

I think what they are saying is clear enough:
Quote This means the TG582n can – by the skin of its teeth – provide close range wireless speeds above the 76Mbps fibre broadband packages PlusNet supplies. In addition it operates above the 62.7Mbps average Ofcom claims is the average for 76Mbit fibre connections at both 2m and 10m with line of sight to the router.
and
Quote All of which shows 802.11n 5GHz wireless really should be a mandatory requirement for any fibre optic broadband router. After all we don't buy fibre broadband services to only get the speed we pay for without walls or doors in the way.
I'm not sure that I don't agree with them about that.

It should be re-worded to say barely achieves advertised wireless speeds.
5GHz isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's great with a direct view, but the drop offs are pretty substantial if you start going through walls.

I totally agree with Thomas; my 5Ghz signal is brilliant around my large house. It's much faster than the 2.4.
