The BT engineer that came out to my house this week said my line  should be syncing at 4.1mb but it still hasn't reached that, he said if it doesn't to get into touch with PN. He didn't find anything wrong with the line, all he did was change the old master socket to a new one with an ADSL face plate. Speeds have been a lot better now though, staying at around 2.2mb.

I've just been on to BT and had the banding removed, which means you'll sync higher, so we'll see how it goes from here.
