I am trying a install a new router that plusnet sent out. When I go to open up my browser window a plusnet page comes up looking me to put in my username and password, when i put it in it says that the details are incorrect? I have tried other login information that I used before but still says the same thing. What am I supposed to do?

If you are trying to login to the router then you need to use these details
Taken from http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/technicolor-582n-advanced.shtml
Quote The username is admin and the password is the serial number printed on the bottom of your router

The routers that Plusnet send out normally just require connecting to the phone line and your computer and turning on; then they will set themselves up. Once that completes (15 minutes or so) you should be able to browse the Internet without needing to enter any username or password information.
Is that process not working for you?

If it doesn't connect to the router then something is borked.
Let's take this one step at a time
Are all the router lights green and if some are red - which ones
Are you trying to connect by wireless or wire - if by wireless can you check by wire
If by wire and the light showing a router connected is green then the problem is probably with the computer. If however non of the connection lights are green it is possibly a borked router or cable
Can you try another cable or the same cable in another slot in the router
If you use the old router does it work

@orchardcove
Having checked your account I can see that you are currently connected, which leads me to believe this may be sorted now, although we'd not be able to tell what router you are using.
Let us know if this is still a problem and I'll be happy to pick up the phone and give you a call.
