Plusnet line speed and BT IP Profile mismatch for FTTC

The BT wholesale speedtest indicates that my FTTC line has an IP profile of 77.42 Mbps, but the current line speed from Plusnet is only showing up as 69.4 Mb. Could you raise my current line speed to match my IP profile from BT please?
I submitted a ticket at faults.plus.net (#80066536) on Saturday, but despite receiving a message stating that it will take up to 24 hours to investigate the fault, I have yet to receive a reply after 3 days for what should have been a very simple operation.

Hi cowabunga,
I've just increased the profile for you.

For a profile adjustment like this I'd just post on the forum rather than raise a fault.

Re: Plusnet line speed and BT IP Profile mismatch for FTTC

Hi, I think I have a similar problem where my current line speed states 68 Mb, but results from the bt wholesale test shows significantly slower speeds.

Sorry to hear that hongsubchat,
I can see there's an engineer due to visit in a few days time so let us know how that goes.

Being cheeky and tagging on this thread, seeing as how you've just metioned it's quicker on here, I've just raised #83290413 but in light of your comment, posting here in case you can fix quicker:
For at least the last few days (possibly longer) we've had slower than usual broadband speeds.
From our initial welcome email:
-- Estimated line speed: 3Mbps
-- Current line speed: 5.7Mbps
We've run at around 5.5Mbps for the last several months, however our current connection rate is down to 1.4Mbps:
(from thinkbroadband speed tests and also: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed)
--Estimated line speed:
--There's no speed estimate currently held on your account.
--Current line speed:
-- 1.4 Mb
I've run a BTW perfomance test and get the following results:
--Download speed achieved during the test was - 1.33 Mbps
--For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 2 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
--IP Profile for your line is - 6.44 Mbps
Can you rectify the line speed to match the BT IP Profile please?
(Assuming that is the issue.)
Many Thanks,
Cre.

Re: Plusnet line speed and BT IP Profile mismatch for FTTC

Hello again. The engineer has just visited and said that everything is working fine. He showed me that my line is running at 68m and advised against using wifi to get max speeds. I have just done some more speed tests (bt wholesale, plugged into router) and it shows 40m download speed.
