Plusnet fibre usage question

Just ordered plusnet extra fibre, I meant to ask on the phone, what speed does it reduce to after you go over your limit (if you set a usage cap on it)?

Re: Plusnet fibre usage question

Your speed would be set to 256kbps, I'd suggest trying to take advantage of the free usage between midnight and 8am daily to avoid this where possible.
If there's anything else I can help with then give me a nudge.

wow !!!!
that fast eh ?!  Crazy Crazy Crazy  Shocked
I'd recommend not going over your limit mind! or if you do, hire some pigeons, they can carry packets faster than that speed!! Cheesy Cheesy  Cheesy Cheesy
Sounds fair enough though.  Cool

Re: Plusnet fibre usage question

Its so you buy the extra usage at £5/5Gb  Grin
I am on my first full month of it and so far keeping to with in the limits, I limit my "normal" downloads to 2Mb (200Kb/s) and full speed over night. However if you are streaming a lot of stuff you may come a cropper.
