Plusnet current line speed querry

Just a simple question,
On adsl2 are the plusnet current line speed increments around 2-3mb stay the same 0.5 mb steps as on adsl1 ?
Reason i ask is i am currently syncing at 3117kb, and have a plusnet line speed profile of 2.5mb, as the bt line profile is instantly set to 88.2% of sync speed, the plusnet profile would seem rather crude is step size if this is the case ?
Thanks,
Paul.

Re: Plusnet current line speed querry

On 21CN (which includes ADSL2) the Plusnet profile is set to the nearest round hundred below the IP profile
Example
Sync 3117kbps
IP profile 0.882 x 3117 = 2749kbps
Plusnet profile 2700kbps

Re: Plusnet current line speed querry

Thanks Oldjim,
That clarifies it nicely !
So as i am currently synced at 3117kb i expect Plusnet profile to update to 2.7mb sometime soon.
Are the raduis reports sorted out these days, i believe this to follow in 24hrs from a resync event, or is this wishful thinking ?
I know 200kb Plusnet ip profile is small, but every little helps (or so a certain retail chain says).
Paul.

Re: Plusnet current line speed querry

The Plusnet profile might or might not get updated automatically, the process seems somewhat fragile. However hopefully the setting will be updated to 2.7Mbps by a member of the Digital Care Team in the morning.

Re: Plusnet current line speed querry

Hi there,
I've nudged your profile up-to 2.7MB/s, give it around 15 minutes and you should see the difference.
