I had two screen shots of the speed tester plus a table of data from the Hub One helpdesk page. I'll try sending them one at a time.

Simon, I don't believe the issue is properly fixed - your D/S noise margin is still way too high, so there must still be an error somewhere, causing that - and your relatively poor download speed.

Just a couple of thoughts @simonc2 

Are you running the BTW Performance test from a wired connected directly to the router or wireless? Wireless testing can give spurious results.

Ping tests to plusnet DNS servers is not that reliable, I would suggest pinging

@Dan_the_Van Are ping tests really needed here? - I would be looking more at the actual speed test results and the other data provide.

@jab1 Maybe you should look a bit better then.

If you check through the thread clearly you will see a ping capture in post #7 and two ping graphs post #8 and #15.

Personally I would have expected you have picked that up!

@jab1 I don't think they are, @simonc2 clearly thought they are useful. I wanted him to know he should use a more reliable target to ping.
