Plusnet Staff - Please can you adjust my profile!

I've just had an OR engineer here - all day! He was unable to increase my upload speed to the normal 17.4, but has increased the downstream to 65.93 please can you adjust the PN Profile (Currently set to 59)?
He has said when the work is finished on the cabinet (the end of this week), to monitor my line for two weeks to see if the upload speed has increased. I may have to report another fault if it has not.
Download speed achieved during the test was - 56.12 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 16 Mbps-65.93 Mbps .

Hi shalom,
I have updated your profile to the maximum available - this will ensure you get the best speeds. You should notice the difference shortly (if not a disconnect and reconnect of the router will force the update).
I hope this helps, and that your upload speed increases once the cabinet work has completed.

So what has your profile actually been set to ?
Has it really been set to "the maximum available" ?,
or is it now slightly below 65.9Mbps so that traffic prioritisation works correctly !

Entirely OT,but the thread title gave me a laugh! Sounds like something more expected of a load of bovver boys than PN. Grin
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Almost as Jelv did, but I'd have pur "speed" before "profile".
I do hope you realised my post was light-hearted whimsy.

No problem! I rushed the thread heading I must admit - all excited that my BT IP Profile had increased by 10 Mbps!

can you also adjust my profile to give me the max possible speed? I had connectivity problems over the past 2 weeks but they were attributed to the Technicolor router so I believe DLM kicked in and lowered my speed. I now have a new router and my connection has been rock solid 24/7.

No need, Oz I've just checked and the profile is set correctly for your connection at the moment so we'd need to look at this from another angle.
What's your download speed like at the moment?
