Signed up for PlusNet Protect and during the download process, got a message saying my PC wasn't protected. Within 24 hours I had a dead PC and had to get it professional cleaned - cost £80! I already had McAfee pre-loaded from when I bought my laptop, but it seems that somewhere during the automated swapover from proprietary McAfee to the PlusNet version... someone dropped the ball - and it wasn't me!
Anyone else had any problems?
I've now taken Plusnet Protect off and installed a different package.
